Balsamic Vinegar & Literature

"After all, that's how love works: like a balsamic vinegar barrel, which allows everything it receives to mature."

Ivan Sciapeconi, a primary school teacher and writer, has written L'eredità del dolceamaro (Feltrinelli editore), a novel that delves into the heart of family ties to reveal their lights and shadows, their harshness and sweetness. The book tells the story of Violante Malavasi, who grew up in a balsamic vinegar barrel, in front of the fireplace of the large tavern in Bastiglia, a small town in the province of Modena. From fire he inherited his uncontrollable character, from balsamic vinegar he owes tenacity and instinct.

Saturday, October 31st at 11:00 a.m. at MrG Tea Boutique Modena at Via Trivellari 1 in Modena's historic center, we were invited to the presentation of this compelling novel, which also tells a little about of our world, Balsamic Vinegar: our export manager Massimiliano Palvarini talks about Balsamic Vinegar, love, and life with Ivan Sciapeconi and journalist Angelo Giovannini

"The flavor and aroma of our Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena are the greatest reward that time can give us and the best gift that can be given from the heart."
