The King of the Table is our Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena DOP Extravecchio
Extra aged because it matures slowly inside barrels of the finest woods, for at least 25 years. Ripe and harmonious, with a high density and an intense and persistent aroma that fills every dish with superfine taste.
The excellent qualities of our Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena DOP Extravecchio were recognized on the occasion of the 18th edition of the Palio della Ghirlandina , reserved exclusively for family-produced vinegars presented anonymously in front of a jury of expert tasters so as not to influence the opinion.
On the occasion of this important event, our vinegar was elected as "King of the Table" by the Expert Tasters Association, selected in first place among the twelve finalists.
A great satisfaction for our Antica Acetaia: the confirmation that our philosophy, that of producing a harmonious and elegant product with highly balanced organoleptic characteristics, is rewarded and widely recognized. Our Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena DOP Extravecchio can be combined with more varied dishes, from cocktails to desserts: it does not cover the flavors but enhances them. Its dark brown colour, deep and shiny, its thick and velvety flavour, its high density, are such characteristics as to make it unique and inimitable, after all, good Vinegar can be recognized at the table!
The award ceremony was held on Saturday 22 April at the Modena Fair.
