Acetaia Malpighi OFF for festivalfilosofia 2026: "The New Form of Light - Fragments of Rebirth"

A photographic exhibition, part of the festivalfilosofia 2026 program (this year dedicated to chaos), and can be visited at our showroom in Piazza Roma during the Modena Festival.
The title is "The new form of light - fragments of rebirth" e was born from an artistic project by Gabriele Fiolo: The photojournalist, through the transformation of some of his slides destroyed by the 2023 flood in Emilia-Romagna into unique works of art, recounts the emotional and social impact experienced by those who directly suffered the disaster, while also offering a reflection on climate change, the involvement of the local community, and the possibilities for creatively reusing damaged materials. A project born from a personal and collective wound, but which over time has become a powerful message of hope, resilience, and rebirth.

Starting from his own direct experience, Fiolo's work develops a reflection on the relationship between destruction and the possibility of reconstruction. The loss of years of work, memories, and photographic materials thus becomes the starting point for a recovery process capable of transforming what appears irreparably compromised into new forms of artistic expression.
The exhibition is accompanied by texts by the poet Francesca Totaro.

After the festival, the exhibition will be open to the public. Open until October 11, 2026.
