The Easter recipe: strawberry tart with Saporoso Malpighi

Spring has begun and strawberries are the stars of the month of March: here, therefore, is our proposal for making a dessert with seasonal fruit, enriched by the sweet and sour taste and velvety flavor of Saporoso Sigillo Oro , the Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PGI” obtained from cooked must of Trebbiano and Lambrusco grapes of our production, aged for at least 8 years in fine oak barrels.

Fresh strawberry tart and tasty Gold Seal

• a block of ready-made shortcrust pastry
• 1⁄2 kg. of fresh strawberries
• a jar of red fruit jam
Tasty Malpighi Gold Seal
• freshly ground or crushed black pepper
• a few fresh mint leaves

Spread the shortcrust pastry on a baking tray covered with baking paper or buttered, bake in the oven at 150 degrees for 20/25 minutes (to prevent it from burning, prick it with a fork, fill with dried beans and cover with foil).
Leave to cool and place on a serving plate.
Cover the bottom of the shortcrust pastry with a generous layer of jam; wash the strawberries, cut them into 2 or 4 and arrange them on the cake.
Season with a few drops of Saporoso Sigillo Oro and a sprinkling of pepper.

Serve decorating with fresh mint leaves.
