In our company, the quality of the woods for our ancient barrels and noble vines has been accurately selected.
A past made of slow gestures and attentive care, of ancient wisdom that in these typical lands lives in and is passed on by the noble Malpighi family strain, lingers inside our ancient acetaie. 

It is thanks to our traditions that we are able to guarantee quality, continuity and improvement of the Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena  "Malpighi" day after day: the recognitions we have obtained confirm it.

  • 1989: Palio di San Giovanni, Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena Malpighi 1st place

  • 1989: 1st cucchiaino d’oro (golden teaspoon) at the Palio di San Giovanni

  • 1995: Ermes Malpighi honorary citizen of Saint Paul Minnesota U.s.a.

  • 2000: Le Salon Saveur di Parigi, Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena Malpighi 1st place as better product on display

  • 2000: Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena Malpighi 1st place as Honor Award for Italian Excellence in Cambridge U.s.a.

  • 2004: Prize Mappa delle stelle San Pellegrino

  • 2012: Three stars for Prelibato and Saporoso Riserva at the Superior Taste Award

  • 2013: Three stars for Prelibato Riserva at the Superior Taste Award

  • 2014: 100% Made in Italy Certification, Institute for the Preservation of Italian Producers – Three stars for Prelibato Riserva at the Superior Taste Award

  • 2015: Massimo Malpighi president of Acetaia Malpighi receives the Prize Gotha del Gusto InternationalX Palio della Ghirlandina, Acetaia Malpighi 4th place; Chrystal Taste Award awarded to Prelibato RiservaMassimo Malpighi was awarded the title of Knight of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic; 

  • 2019: Prize Forme dell'Aceto (Shapes of Vinegar): Innovations Prize for our "Aceto Balsamico di Modena IGP" Pearls, Best Label Prize for our Balsamic Vinegar of Modena IGPExcellence Prize 2019Acetaia Malpighi in the food sector “for the passion and pride in taking forward the taste and scent of the Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena DOP

  • 2020: Balsamic Vinegar of Modena IGP "Platino" receives the Top50 Award at the first 2020 edition of the International Taste Awards, ranking among the best 50 products in the competition. Our IGP Platino also receives the gold medal with the label of "outstanding product"; in the same competition Prelibato receives the bronze medal; 

  • 2021: Saporoso the "Best Luxury Balsamic in the World"; Malpighi Balsamic Vinegar wins special mention at the Emilia Romagna Food Awards 2021, the first Oscar dedicated to agrifood producers sponsored by the Emilia-Romagna Region, Mipaaf and Coldiretti; 

  • 2022: 30 Travasi is honored with a prestigious Gold Quality Award Monde Selection 202230 Travasi selected among the top 100 by the CIBUS technical jury coordinated by Food Editore
